Altendorf America Becomes Stiles Shop Solutions

Peter Kleinschmidt, President of Stiles Machinery Inc., announced that the company's sales division, Altendorf America, will take on a new name effective July 17, 2007.  Stiles Shop Solutions debuted at the AWFS Fair in Las Vegas, NV, replacing the 22-year-old divisional name.  After careful research and analysis of the entry to mid-size markets, it is believed that the Shop Solutions name now better reflects the customer base supported by this division of Stiles Machinery Inc.  "It is our hope that the Stiles Shop Solutions name will help our customers recognize that the focus of this division of Stiles is to provide entrepreneurial or custom shops solutions that will contribute to their success," says Bill Cariano, V.P. of the Stiles Shop Solutions division.  "This new branding emphasizes our ever-increasing commitment to being a leader in recommending, supplying, and supporting high quality solutions and services to U.S. woodworking shops.

Throughout the past 22 years, the shop segment of the U.S. market has continuously grown and embraced higher levels of technology.  With those changes, Altendorf America has continuously responded through product and service expansion.  The Altendorf sliding table saw, the division's first product, helped pave the way for continued growth over the years. Other key offerings provided by Stiles Shop Solutions include machines specifically designed for the custom shop which include Brandt edgebanders, and certain models of Bütfering wide belt sanders, Holzma CNC panel saws, weeke CNC routers and machining centers, and Kentwood moulders.
